Repurposed. Not retired.

Retired. Sounds old. Something my father decided to do once golf became more important than his sales quotas.

Repurposed. What my mother did when she rolled the brown grocery bag down to a flat rectangle and said, “I’m not buying paper lunch bags. This works just fine!”

Both true but I’ve redefined each as my opportunity to transform and adapt — a fresh chance to infuse my days with renewed value and functionality.

The art of repurposing invites us to think beyond traditional use and explore the hidden possibilities of everyday items. And so, we should think about our lives in the same way — every day. Repurposing encourages resourcefulness and ingenuity, challenging us to see through a different lens and discover unconventional solutions. It is an act of transformation. It challenges us to see the potential in the overlooked, the ordinary, and the worn-out. It encourages us to embrace our creativity, reduce waste, and reimagine ourselves and the world around us.

Put that in your paper bag and roll it!
