A wonderful gathering of found objects, repurposed to create this assemblage.  She represents a moment in time.

 Following the recent unbelievable rainstorms in So. Calif. – we are forced to live in a hotel room while the water damage at home is remediated and repaired – in an Anaheim hotel. Close to Mickey’s resort park where the lobby’s drawer of lost & found orphans is a delightful treasure trove! I am allowed to take a Barbie® doll, paper clips, buttons, a garment label, lace and other “gems”. I also gather up a Coke® can, popsicle and stir sticks, more paper clips, deli papers, and some Armenian newsprint. All carefully painted to resemble artifacts and weathered metal. My Barbie® canvas transforms lost travel ephemera to a sage Shaman Princess who can perhaps help control the destiny of my own home restoration.
