Up, up & hooray!

My artwork is on display at the Southern California airport terminal! The airport with the identity crisis. That is, the Orange County airport aka the John Wayne Airport aka SNA. So wonderful to see my work “under glass.” Anything looks important encased in an acrylic box, but the true fun of it is to watch people respond to the work.

Mostly friends and family. How fabulous to have the support, encouragement and excitement of everyone as I venture into the business world of art. No one “discovers” you. It takes effort and many rejections or suggestions … just like the early days of job-hunting. And, this is such a subjective arena that there is no right or wrong process.

As I heard it said, “You are creating and THAT makes you an artist.” Well, that’s good enough for me so I will carry on!

See you at “John Wayne!” (Until November 30, 2023, that is.)
